Cynthia Greider

Cynthia Greider, a Fort Wayne native, has played clarinet with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic since 1987.

Currently second clarinet, she also plays piano and alto saxophone and has been playing since age 10. She is a Philharmonic Mentor in the IPFW Department of Music, a private clarinet instructor, a founding director of Kindermusik of Fort Wayne from 1996 to 2009, and currently a Kindermusik instructor. Greider has a Bachelor of Music from Indiana University and a Master of Music and Artist Diploma from the Cleveland Institute of Music. A member of Sigma Alpha Iota Alumni Chapter, she also is a licensed Kindermusik instructor and a certified Montessori instructor. Greider’s hobbies include gardening and a love of animals, especially dogs. She has a black Lab named Sadie.
